rewilding within

a Blockhouse retreat, Tresco Island

yoga, breath work, wild swimming, nature immersion, nourishment workshops

Hosted by Esmée Halliday & Isobel Malloch-Brown

Back for our third year, 2nd - 7th March 2026
please note this offering is intentionally kept to a small group - only a few spaces available

“In an overstimulated culture, disconnection from oneself is all too easy. This retreat is a chance to slow down, turn inward and re-assimilate ourselves with natures rhythms. I believe that yoga and wild swimming are the perfect pairing to guide us back to the present”

Inspired by the magic of Tresco, I saw the island as the perfect opportunity for a rewilding of self. A chance to relish in simple pleasures, spend time in and amongst nature, unearthing a more authentic way of being.

This retreat is a chance to pause, reflect and reconnect.

Reconnect with yourself, with nature and with a community of likeminded souls. It’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in island life; to bathe in the peace; and to leave Tresco feeling a sense of rejuvenation.

A personal development journey guided by nature herself, the retreat will use yoga, breath work, meditation, wild swimming, local and conscious food to nourish the body and soul.

Wake each morning to the sound of the sea, the glow of the sun, and seize the opportunity to bask in natures glory.

Integrated into your afternoon itinerary, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in a variety of rewilding activities, from mindful foraging and fermentation demonstrations to honey herbalism workshops.

If you’ve got the appetite, these experiences are waiting for you. But if one day you feel like slowing down and embracing some rest, that’s perfectly fine too. This retreat is all about tuning into your own rhythm, so the schedule is yours to shape.

Rewilding Within Retreat Itinerary

Each day of the retreat is guided by a unique theme, shaping the energy and focus of our time together. Expect a rhythm that allows for deep rest, connection, and renewal - moving through moments of stillness, exploration and embodiment.

Mornings are slow and intentional, beginning with meditation, breath work, and an embodied yoga practice to ease into the day. We then gather for a refreshing dip in the ocean (with the beach just a stones throw from our property, so rest assured a sauna eagerly awaits you).

We then collect together for a nourishing brunch crafted with the best seasonal ingredients, including nature’s offerings from Tresco’s gardens.

Afternoons invite curiosity and play, curate your own experience with a spa treatment, rest, walk or participate in our afternoon workshop - perhaps it’s a fermentation demonstration, honey and herbalism or barefoot foraging. These sessions are designed to deepen your connection with both your body and the wild world around you.

As the evening unfolds, we collect for a grounding practice - whether it’s movement or breath work - its our evening ritual, beautifully closing the day before a three-course meal, shared under the glow of candlelight and connection.
